Summer Reading is a community children’s program where children ages 3 to 10 can enjoy 6 weeks of fun stories and activities @ their library. Each year we enjoy a new theme. Parents help children set a reading goal, and if they report to the librarians 3 times and reach their goal - they are invited to a PARTY!
Summer Reading 2008 (CATCH THE READING BUG @ YOUR LIBRARY!) was a great success. Thanks to Sheena, Cam, and all of your children!
The Party was on July 17 @ the City Park, where the children played bug games and received their prizes. 50 children reached their goal, and 45 children enjoyed fun activities at the party.
Join us next year for more summer fun!
